A very domestic day relaxing, recovering and reorienting. Matt & I did some supermarket shopping - always interesting when everything is in French. Also went to the bank in Morzine. Now that was an interesting experience. 2 glass security doors to negotiate just to get in. They also scan all the notes to detect fakes, so do the shops! In the afternoon we went to Thonin to a store similar to Bunnings but heated. I'm always frozen at Bunnings so that was a pleasant surprise. I cooked tea last night & Matt & I watched TV. Greg was working at the Bar. Not sure what time he got home as I went to bed at 8.30pm.
Matt & I are off to London tomorrow leaving at 5 am in the morning. A 12 hour drive to the ferry. Matt is driving a British registered car so has to go back every 6 months for the MOT. While in London we are going on the London Eye, visiting the British Museum and going out to dinner with Matt's friends who are English, live in St Jean D'Alps and own the Bar. We are also going to see Priscilla Queen of the Desert with them.
Hoping to get some sun today and if lucky it might be slightly warmer than 6 degs. although it did reach 13 degs in Thonin! I love being here though and the natural beauty is something to behold. it is also really good to totally switch off from work - well almost - I did check my work emails this morning. My intention is to do this a couple of times per week otherwise it will be overwhelming when I get back.
Well enough from me, all this blogging is giving me an appetite so I am on the hunt for some breakfast. The challenge will be to get it without waking the boys.

The Crows beat Richmond. The Aussies cleaned up India in the cricket (knowing your keen interest). The sharemarket is worse than the Crows performance so far this season.
Good to see you are thriving
